If you are drawn to stripes as much as I am, you’ll love all of the stripy options here…in every color imaginable! Narrowing down a favorite is too hard!

This “Sky Scarf” is such a creative knitting / crocheting project. Each day, a new row, representing the color of the sky, is added to the scarf using shades of gray, blue, and white. I can only imagine that mixing the yarns together to match the sky must prove to be a creative challenge. I love how, when stitched all together, such a minute detail becomes a much larger, abstract product. This concept reminds me of my “One Line A Day” journal (I’m on Year Two!), but the result is much more beautiful!

Nothing says “celebration!” better than confetti. I remember one new year’s eve, my sisters and I filled balloons with confetti we made using a hole-punch, strung them on a string, and popped them when the clock struck midnight. In a matter of seconds, confetti was flying in our hair and flooding our living room. Whether it New Year’s, a surprise party, or a mundane Monday morning (Happy Monday!), confetti is the ultimate celebration staple. I especially am drawn to confetti of the colorful and sparkly variety, especially when incorporated into fun ideas like these!

I spent this past week in Westlake, Texas for work training and it was such a beautiful place! While the weather was insane (107 degrees?!?!), the expansive fields and sunsets were so relaxing and pretty. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to explore the surrounding area since we were stuck in class most of the day, but couldn’t you imagine having a picnic in these fields? Gorgeous.
