Lately…

15 May

An impromptu week day bbq. Friday date night tacos. An after work run. Raspberry puree mojitos. Photobooth-ing with my sister.
Life has been busy lately, but its good to stop and recognize the fun moments between the hectic ones.

For Future Adventures

10 May

After two or so months of searching, I finally settled on and ordered my shiny new beach cruiser! I am so excited for biking adventures around my neighborhood now that the weather is consistently pretty! I will most definitely be counting down the days until this bike is at my doorstep!

Stripes are my favorite. They are probably yours too. Its such a classic pattern, its hard not to love it! What’s not so classic are cameras covered in them – bright, beachy, colorful stripes. It is so not classic and it is so right. If only more cameras looked less “electronic” and more like these La Sardina lomo cameras. These are just asking to capture sunny moments.

Icy

My boyfriend recently bought this set of perfectly square ice cube trays. While just a minor difference from a regular ice cube tray, the perfect cubes have a way of making even a glass of water look a little fancier. With the Bay Area temperatures rising this past weekend, we’ve been drinking everything iced – coffee, margaritas, and cucumber water. While ice cubes are not the most exciting things, when I stumbled upon these flavored ice cubes on Spoon Fork Bacon, it was obvious that we will need to make these this summer. They not only look delicious, the colors are so pretty too!

Weekend Words

4 May

My brain is fried. Work has taken over my real life and instead I’m drowning in piles of unread documents (which have to be completely read & revised by today)! Yikes. But its Friday and everything is always a little bit brighter on Fridays! Today we end the week with what seems like a simple statement, “Work Hard.” But there’s a caveat – Work hard on things you love. Work hard on connecting with people you care about. Work hard at whats important to you. Yup, I need to remember that.

Little Houses

These 3D paper posters by Chloe Fleury  definitely capture the spirit of San Francisco’s distinct neighborhoods. I love all of the color blocked details like each home’s trim and well-placed rain clouds. The funny thing is that its not that rare to find homes in SF that are painted in these bright colors.
