Poufs!

4 Jan

When looking into poufs, I was surprised that most were of the moroccan variety – besides the few crocheted versions here and there. I don’t really mind though as the geometric styling of the moroccan poufs are my favorite. Lucky for us, they come in an array of colors, even metallic gold!

Bokeh? Okay!

26 Dec

I’ve always liked the warm, glowing look of blurry bokeh lighting and finally discovered how to produce the lighting while taking snapshots during Christmas Eve. Once discovering my camera’s magical ability, I experimented with hearts similar to this tutorial.

On another note, how have your holidays been? We had a busy Christmas day filled with family and friends and I couldn’t have asked for more! Now, onto the new year!

We Decked Our Halls

And there you have it. Our little tree decked out sparkly lights and ornaments!

Life has been a mix of long work hours and cramming in holiday activities when the opportunity arises. Today’s holiday activity? Wrapping a present in candy cane striped gift wrap and topping it with a giant homemade tulle bow!

Meet Dougie

7 Dec

Meet Dougie. The cutest four-foot douglas fir Christmas tree ever. After taking in the amazing smell of trees at the lot and much deliberation, we picked this little tree because, well, he was the most adorable of them all. Tomorrow, we decorate!

Painted

30 Nov
